The Lone Star Woodturners Association, Inc. - LSWA, is a non-profit educational association of woodturners located in The Woodlands, Texas.

We are a member of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW), the largest organization in the world dedicated to the advancement of woodturning, with more than 13,000 members and hundreds of local chapters located throughout the world.The LSWA exists to educate our members and the public in the art and craft of woodturning.

Our members include woodturners of all skill levels from novice to skilled professional. We share a common bond through our interest in the woodturning arts and freely share our knowledge, ideas, techniques and information. We also promote woodturning in the community through educational demonstrations.

Our club meetings are held monthly, on the 4th Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in various locations in and around The Woodlands, Texas. Meeting schedules and locations are available through our website (www.lonestarwoodturners.com) and in our current newsletter. Visitors are always welcome to attend club meetings.

Membership in the LSWA is open to anyone with an interest in woodturning. Annual membership fees are $25.00. If you are thinking about giving woodturning a try, even if you don't own a lathe, you are encouraged to attend one of our meetings. Sharing ideas, techniques and knowledge is the lifeline for all woodturners. Join us in our creative exploration of the art and craft of woodturning!
