This double disk DVD demonstrates all the steps necessary for turning two-step bowls from green wood. Disk one begins with chainsawing the bowl blank from the rough log, rounding the blank on the bandsaw, lathe mounting options, turning the exterior, hollowing the interior of the roughout, and preparing it for drying plus much more.
Disk two covers remounting the dried roughout on the lathe, truing the roughout to remove the warped surface, mounting the bowl in a chuck, finish turning the exterior and interior of the bowl, turning decorative elements, reverse turning the foot, power sanding, and finishing the completed bowl. Sharpening the Irish ground bowl gouge on both wet and dry sharpening systems and numerous tips and techiques are also included.

Now available! This double disk DVD demonstrates Steve's favorite techniques for turning four elegant bottle stopper projects. Disk one demonstrates turning two projects: 1) A Cocobolo Rosewood wooden dowel bottle stopper with a traditional Flor cork, and 2) A Cocobolo Rosewood bottle stopper inlaid with a 25mm Crazy Lace Agate cabochon with a traditional Flor cork.
Disk two covers two additional projects: 1) A blue swirl acrylic acetate bottle stopper finished to 12000-grit with a black titanium metal cone stopper, and 2) A blue swirl acrylic acetate bottle stopper finished to 12000-grit and inlaid with (24) 2.5mm Cubic Zirconia (CZ) presets, set in solid 18kt white gold. Includes detailed information on drilling and mounting procedures for the CZ presets. Numerous tips and techniques are also included on both videos.
