This is the eighth edition of Lathe Talk, a free monthly newsletter (e-zine) for subscribers of Steve Russell’s “Woodturning Videos Plus” woodturning website. New Content Added to Our Library: Turning Spring-Loaded Key Rings - Key rings are simple projects to turn and are a good introduction to the basics of spindle turning on a mandrel for new woodturners. This article will give you complete step-by-step instructions for turning these popular projects. Now you know what you can do with all of those small exotic wood scraps that are laying around your studio!

In addition to the text and photos in each article, we will adding video segments to selected articles in the very near future.
